Indian Players Reveal 'Dabanng' Player Of Their Team
During their appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2, India’s T20 World Cup winning stars—Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Rohit Sharma—had a fun segment where they were assigned Bollywood movie titles.
The show’s judge, Archana Puran Singh, asked them which player fit certain film titles, leading to some humorous moments.
When asked who the “Dabangg” of the team was, Suryakumar and Dube both pointed to captain Rohit Sharma, praising his leadership and style. Dube said, “There are many players in our team who can be called Dabangg because of their style. But the main one is captain, so he is Dabangg.”
Rohit also hilariously accepted the title of “Ghajini”, referencing the film character known for his forgetfulness, acknowledging his reputation for forgetting things. Suryakumar and Dube added to the joke, with Suryakumar quipping that Rohit sometimes even forgets the coin for the toss.
The title of “Bluffmaster” went to Suryakumar Yadav for his unpredictable and dynamic batting style, with Dube explaining how his 360-degree shot-making keeps bowlers on their toes.
Finally, spinner Kuldeep Yadav was crowned the “Nautanki Saala”, described by Rohit and Suryakumar as the most dramatic player on the team, always complaining about the heat and making humorous comments during games.
The playful banter between the players provided fans with a fun and lighthearted look into the team’s camaraderie.
