At 40 years old, Faf is still one of the most respected players in the T20 format. His experience will be invaluable to a Delhi side that has shown promise but has struggled to go all the way in recent seasons. Over his IPL career, Faf has been a consistent performer, scoring 1,636 runs in 45 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at an average of 38.04, with 15 half-centuries and a strike rate of nearly 147. He has also been part of title-winning squads with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), bringing leadership and calmness to the middle order.

Delhi Capitals will be hoping that Faf’s extensive experience will help guide them to their first-ever IPL title.
