March 24, 2025: Former spinner Harbhajan Singh And Navjot Singh Sidhu became an admirer of Ishan Kishan after witnessing his explosive batting performance in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) thrilling match against Rajasthan Royals during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

Kishan raced to his fifty in just 25 balls, and continued to accelerate, reaching his maiden IPL century in a mere 20 deliveries. His aggressive knock led SRH to a massive total of 286/6, the second-highest score in IPL history. He remained unbeaten at 106, solidifying his role as a game-changer for SRH.

Reacting to his exceptional performance, Harbhajan Singh, in a video on his YouTube channel, praised the young southpaw and expressed that Mumbai Indians (MI) had made a mistake by letting Ishan Kishan go. “I felt MI lost twice today. They lost their game, and the player (Ishan) they let go played a sensational knock for SRH,” Harbhajan remarked.

He went on to praise SRH’s fiery batting form, which resembled their attacking approach in the previous IPL season. Harbhajan believes this makes Sunrisers Hyderabad the most “dangerous” team in IPL 2025, especially with players like Ishan Kishan showing their true potential. “Ishan made a comeback and showed everyone his true capability. He made me his fan,” Harbhajan added, reflecting on Kishan’s incredible performance.
