IPL 2025: Kane Williamson Praises LSG’s “Flawless Execution” In Thrilling Victory Over SRH

March 28, 2025: Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson praised the Lucknow Super Giants for their flawless execution in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match, which helped them restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to an under-par total and eventually secure a five-wicket victory.

LSG’s bowlers, led by Shardul Thakur, were exceptional in keeping SRH’s batters under control, bowling full and straight to target yorker lengths and prevent big hits. Shardul’s remarkable 4/34 performance helped limit SRH to a total of 190/9.

Williamson highlighted the courage and planning from LSG’s leadership, which made all the difference in restricting the opposition. Shardul’s early breakthroughs, along with his role in cleaning up SRH’s tail end, were instrumental in the win. Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran’s aggressive 70 led LSG’s chase, guiding them to a five-wicket win despite a strong total from Hyderabad.

The win showcased LSG’s strategic planning and execution, with Shardul’s performance earning him the title of Man of the Match.
