February 9, 2025: Rohit Sharma delivered a scintillating performance in the second ODI against England at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, with a magnificent 119 off just 90 balls, putting India in control of their chase of 305 runs. Despite losing quick wickets, India won in the 45th over.

Rohit not only secured his 32nd ODI century but also surpassed Rahul Dravid in the list of Indian batters with the most international centuries, claiming third place with 49 tons. Only Virat Kohli (81 centuries) and Sachin Tendulkar (100 centuries) rank higher. Additionally, Rohit made history by overtaking Chris Gayle (331 sixes) for the second-most ODI sixes, with Shahid Afridi leading the tally at 351.
