Yadav expressed confidence that Gaikwad’s time to shine in the senior T20I squad will come soon.

“Ruturaj is a fantastic player. He’s been consistent across all formats he plays,” Yadav commented in the pre-match press conference. “There’s a process within the team, and he’s following it well. Given his performance and talent, I believe his time will come soon.”

Despite his impressive record, Gaikwad has not been included in the T20I squads for recent series against Bangladesh and now South Africa.
