In addition, he has played a crucial role in CSK’s past successes, having contributed both with the ball and bat in IPL history.

Ravindra Jadeja, the seasoned all-rounder, is another key figure for CSK. With 140 wickets to his name in the IPL, Jadeja is just eight wickets away from becoming the franchise’s all-time leading wicket-taker. He is also poised to become CSK’s second-most-capped player, assuming he makes five appearances in the current season.

Afghanistan’s Noor Ahmad, who was signed for Rs 10 crore after a bidding war with MI, adds further depth to CSK’s spin arsenal.
