May 30, 2025: After a crushing defeat in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2025, Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shreyas Iyer remains unfazed and full of belief.

While the team was bowled out for just 101 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Iyer delivered a rousing message to fans:
“We have lost the battle, not the war. We’re not done yet.”
Despite a heartbreaking loss in Qualifier 1, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) are not out of the IPL 2025 race just yet. Thanks to their Top-2 finish in the league stage, PBKS have earned a crucial second chance — they now move to Qualifier 2, where a win will take them straight to the Final.
In a post-match interview, Iyer acknowledged the setback but quickly turned the focus toward the path ahead.
“Yes, it was a tough day, no doubt. But this team has shown incredible spirit all season. We’re not ready to pack up yet. We’ve lost one game, not the tournament,” Iyer said.
PBKS supporters quickly flooded social media with encouragement, praising Iyer’s leadership and optimistic outlook. Phrases like “We believe in PBKS” and “Captain with a Champion Mindset” began trending across platforms.
