Speaking on JioHotstar’s special show ‘Gen Bold,’ the young cricketer emphasized the sacrifices and dedication required in the sport and the importance of a positive mindset in achieving long-term goals.
“I have a lot of faith in myself—my game, my thoughts, and my abilities,” Jaiswal explained. He highlighted how cricket demands relentless effort, from practice and training to diet and mindset. According to Jaiswal, if one stays consistent and continues to push forward, success will eventually follow. His belief in preparation, hard work, and maintaining the right attitude forms the core of his approach to the game.
Jaiswal recalled his remarkable century against Mumbai Indians during the 2023 Indian Premier League, which was a standout moment of his career. Reflecting on the performance, he shared, “That day was special. I approached it with the same mindset I always have—trusting my preparation and believing that I could do it. And when I achieved it, I felt immense gratitude.”
The young batter also expressed his gratitude towards Rajasthan Royals, who have supported him throughout his six-year journey. “I especially want to thank Rajasthan Royals for the way they have nurtured me over the years. They’ve always taken great care of me,” said Jaiswal. He also praised the valuable lessons he’s learned from senior players, which have helped him improve and evolve his game.
