London | June 2, 2025 – Football icon David Beckham has been hospitalised for arm surgery, stemming from a lingering injury first sustained during a 2003 match against South Africa. After years of ignoring the pain, it reportedly became unbearable in recent months, prompting a routine scan that revealed a complication with a dissolvable pin — which failed to absorb as expected.

The 49-year-old former England captain underwent corrective surgery earlier this week. His wife, Victoria Beckham, offered fans a glimpse into his recovery, posting a photo of David smiling from his hospital bed, his arm in a sling.
“Get well soon Daddy,” Victoria captioned the Instagram Story, which also showed a bracelet reading “Get Well Soon” — a thoughtful gift to lift his spirits.
Sources told The Sun that Beckham had endured pain for years but continued working through it. “Victoria was at his bedside post-op, and all went well. He’s in great spirits,” the source confirmed.
A Power Couple Still Going Strong
The Beckhams, who met in 1997 and married in 1999, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year in July by recreating their iconic purple outfits from their reception. Together, they share four children — Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
