Head’s stellar performances across all formats from Australia’s home series against West Indies in the 2023-24 season to the conclusion of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India have put him in strong contention for the award.
During this period, Head accumulated 1,427 runs in 29 matches and 36 innings, with an impressive average of 43.24, including four centuries and five fifties. His highest score during this phase is 154 runs.
