The gesture, which he made after scoring his fifty, has sparked a lot of anger from Indian fans, who said it was disrespectful because of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

After hitting fifty runs off of 45 balls, which helped Pakistan reach a competitive total of 171/5, Farhan brandished his bat like a pistol and pointed it at his dressing room. The celebration was seen as harmless in normal situations, but it made people angry because it happened after the Pahalgam terror attack, which was on the minds of Indian players and spectators.
