ICC Seeks Written Explanation From BCCI For not Sending India To Pakistan For Champions Trophy 2025

November 15, 2024: The ongoing tension between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over India's participation in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy has escalated, with the International Cricket Council (ICC) formally requesting an explanation from the BCCI. The controversy stems from India's decision not to send its cricket team to Pakistan for the upcoming tournament, citing security concerns. In the event that the ICC shifts the tournament to a neutral venue, there are even speculations that Pakistan could pull out of the competition altogether.
