Sannia Ashfaq recently shared what she claims are WhatsApp screenshots of exchanges with the cricketer during her pregnancy. She alleges that when she reached out for support, Wasim responded by threatening legal action and a harassment case against her.

Forced Abortion: Ashfaq claims Wasim forced her to undergo an abortion in Lahore in December 2023, even going as far as to label him a “murderer” in her posts.
Infidelity: She has publicly called Nyla Raja a “homewrecker” and accused Wasim of cheating on her for a significant period before their divorce in December 2025.

Mohsin Naqvi: As the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Naqvi has been urged to investigate Wasim’s conduct.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif: Sannia has requested the PM’s office to ensure a transparent investigation into the alleged mistreatment.
Islamabad United: She has called for a boycott of Wasim’s PSL franchise, criticizing them for supporting him despite the allegations.

Imad Wasim’s Stance

While Wasim has not directly addressed the specific “murder” or “abortion” claims in detail, he released a statement following his second marriage. He described his first marriage as one of the “hardest chapters” of his life and expressed regret over “staying longer than he should have.” He maintained that his commitment to his children remains his priority but claimed he has been denied access to them despite his efforts.
