In the women’s compound final, the Indian team, consisting of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Madhura Dhamangaonkar, and Chikitha Taniparthi, earned a silver medal, although they lost to a dominant Mexican side 221-234. Despite the one-sided outcome, the Indian women displayed promise throughout the tournament, ultimately securing a spot on the podium.
Further adding to India’s medal tally, the mixed team of Abhishek Verma and Madhura Dhamangaonkar bagged bronze after defeating Malaysia in a low-scoring third-place match.
