Bowling out England for 465, India managed a slender six-run lead after the first innings, with Bumrah leading the charge (5/83), well supported by Prasidh Krishna (3 wickets) and Mohammed Siraj (2 wickets). England’s innings was bolstered by Ollie Pope’s gritty 106 and Harry Brook’s heartbreaking 99, but the hosts fell just short of India’s 471.
🏏 Rahul, Sudharsan Rebuild After Early Jolt
In response, India began their second innings with caution. Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed early for 4, but KL Rahul and debutant Sai Sudharsan steadied the ship with a 66-run partnership.
