Lahore, March 22 – In the aftermath of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lashed out at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), warning of greater financial consequences if the two nations continue to avoid bilateral tours.
Despite widespread media reports suggesting financial setbacks for Pakistan, PCB spokesperson Aamir Mir and CFO Javed Murtaza claimed the board will still record a profit of nearly USD 10 million from hosting the event, even with India playing its matches at a neutral venue (Dubai).
“All the decision-making is done by the ICC. If India tried to harm Pakistan financially, let me tell you—they will pay the price,” Mir said at a press conference.
“India vs Pakistan sells like hot cakes. If Pakistan doesn’t travel to India for the next three years, India will suffer more financial loss.”
