This three-day strokeplay tournament will feature multiple titles, including boys’ and girls’ individual and team events, as well as a mixed team title. Scores from each team will be combined accordingly to determine the standings.
The players are enthusiastic about competing on the international stage and credit IGU for giving them the platform to grow and gain exposure.
“My preparation has been solid. This event is a great learning opportunity,” said Krish Chawla.
Ranveer Mitroo, who is also scheduled to play in upcoming events in Singapore and the U.S., added, “Representing India is always an honor. The IGU gives us opportunities that are vital for our progress.”
First-time international competitor Saanvi Somu shared her excitement, highlighting her focus on fitness and mental toughness. “The Hong Kong course is beautiful and challenging. I look forward to the experience,” she said.
Kashika Mishra echoed the sentiment, praising IGU’s support. “They’re not just a platform, they’re a backbone for young golfers like me,” she said.
With ideal weather and a competitive field, the Indian team is set for an action-packed championship that promises to be a milestone in their young careers.
