Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) witnessed a remarkable revival courtesy of Ayush Badoni’s stellar performance, propelling them to a challenging total of 167/7 against Delhi Capitals (DC) in their IPL 2024 showdown at Ekana Cricket Stadium.

Despite a precarious position of 94/7, Badoni’s resilience shone through as he forged a crucial 73-run partnership with Arshad Khan, steering LSG to a competitive score.

DC’s Khaleel Ahmed struck early, dismissing Quinton de Kock, but Badoni’s heroics turned the tide. LSG skipper KL Rahul also played a pivotal role with an aggressive innings.

Kuldeep Yadav’s crafty bowling fetched him three wickets, including the prized scalps of Stoinis and Pooran. Despite some resistance from Deepak Hooda, DC’s bowlers made significant inroads.
