March 3, 2025: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have unveiled their new-look jersey for the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), featuring a fresh design and a symbolic tribute to the team’s historic success. As part of their unique campaign, KKR released the Official Jersey Launch Video, where fans can be seen obsessing over the number “3”, symbolizing the three IPL titles the franchise has won.

The video culminates in the inclusion of ‘Three Stars’ woven into the fabric of the new jersey, each star representing one of KKR’s IPL championship victories. The new kit is sported by key players including Rinku Singh, Venkatesh Iyer, Ramandeep Singh, Manish Pandey, Vaibhav Arora, Anukul Roy, Mayank Markande, and Luvnith Sisodia, who showcase the fresh design.

A standout feature of the jersey is the addition of the third star on top of the team crest, marking KKR’s third IPL title in 2024. Additionally, the jersey carries a special Golden IPL badge on the arm to honor KKR as the defending champions of IPL 2025.

The design of the new kit is centered around the “Three-edged Star,” a theme representing the team’s three championship wins. Along with the jersey release, KKR also launched the new threads for sale, making them available for purchase on the Knight Club app, the team’s official website, and social media channels.

A standout move for this year’s campaign is the celestial tribute to KKR’s motto “Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo.” In a unique gesture, three actual stars in the sky have been named after the team’s championship years—2012, 2014, and 2024. These stars can be viewed on a clear night using the coordinates or QR codes provided in the certificates given to fans.

KKR’s new jersey and celestial tribute mark a fresh, exciting chapter as the team gears up for their IPL 2025 campaign. They will begin their season on March 22 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Eden Gardens, with hopes of adding a fourth star to their badge in the near future.
