May 18, 2025: Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings, IPL 2025: Punjab Kings delivered a powerful batting display at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, posting 219/5 against Rajasthan Royals in Match 59 of IPL 2025. The innings was anchored by two brilliant half-centuries—Nehal Wadhera’s 70 off 41 balls and Shashank Singh’s unbeaten 59 off 27.

Shreyas Iyer, who won the toss and opted to bat first, contributed a steady 30 before being dismissed by Riyan Parag. PBKS were at a delicate 50/3 in the fifth over but recovered strongly through Wadhera and Shashank’s aggressive counterattack.

A late cameo from Azmatullah Omarzai (21* off 9 balls), including a six and two boundaries in the 18th over, gave PBKS the final push past the 200-run mark.

Rajasthan’s bowling attack was led by Tushar Deshpande with 2 wickets, while Kwena Maphaka, Riyan Parag, and Aakash Madhwal claimed one each. Despite early breakthroughs, RR struggled to contain the scoring rate in the final overs.
