IPL 2025: MS Dhoni Becomes 4th Indian to Smash 350 T20 Sixes in Clash Against Rajasthan Royals
May 20, 2025 : In a milestone moment during Chennai Super Kings‘ (CSK) clash with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, MS Dhoni etched his name into the record books by becoming the fourth Indian batter to hit 350 sixes in T20 cricket.
The iconic achievement came in the 16th over of CSK’s innings when Riyan Parag tried to deceive Dhoni with a crafty round-arm delivery. Unfazed, the 43-year-old CSK captain timed it perfectly and launched a flat six straight over Parag’s head, showcasing his trademark power and poise.

Globally, Chris Gayle still leads with an unmatched tally of 1,056 sixes.
Despite not converting his start into a big score, Dhoni’s milestone was one of the bright sparks for CSK in their effort to post a competitive total.
The Chennai innings saw a crucial 59-run stand between Brevis and Dube, after an early collapse. Akash Madhwal’s clever bowling, especially in the death overs, ensured CSK were restricted to 187/8, slightly below par on a typically high-scoring Delhi track.
With the Royals needing 188 to win, the spotlight now shifts to whether Sanju Samson’s side can chase down the target and seal a crucial win in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League.
