In a thrilling match at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) Sunil Narine tied with Andre Russell for the most ‘Player of the Match’ awards in the history of the franchise during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Narine’s stellar performance helped secure this record during KKR’s game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Narine showcased his all-round capabilities by scoring a robust 81 runs off 39 balls, achieving a strike rate of 207.69. His innings included 6 fours and 7 sixes. On the bowling front, the 35-year-old spinner managed to take one wicket while conceding 22 runs in his allotted four overs.
