RJ Mahvash Reacts on Yuzvendra Chahal’s Hat-Trick: Deets Inside

Yuzvendra Chahal, the IPL’s all-time leading wicket-taker, lit up the Chepauk on Wednesday night with a breathtaking performance that saw him claim the first hat-trick of IPL 2025. Playing for Punjab Kings, Chahal dismantled Chennai Super Kings’ lower order in the 19th over, grabbing four wickets in six balls and sealing CSK’s fate at 190 all out.

It was a vintage spell from the former Purple Cap winner, reminiscent of his 2022 heroics against Kolkata Knight Riders, where he also claimed four in one over. This was Chahal’s second IPL hat-trick, and the first in the league since 2023.
The over began with MS Dhoni smacking a six over long-on. But Chahal struck back immediately, removing Dhoni on the next ball with a deceptive delivery. Deepak Hooda followed, miscuing a back-foot drive to be caught inside the circle.

Then came Anshul Kamboj, CSK’s Impact Player. A sharp leg-break knocked over his stumps. Finally, Noor Ahmad tried to clear the ropes but found Marco Jansen at long-on.
CSK collapsed from 184/6 to 190 all out, with Chahal finishing the over on a hat-trick high.
Popular influencer and radio host RJ Mahvash, who was recently seen with Chahal and has been supporting Punjab Kings, posted a spirited message on Instagram:
“God mode on kyaaa? @yuzi_chahal23 — strength of a warrior, sir!”
The post quickly went viral among fans, celebrating the spinner’s fiery return to form.
Speaking after the innings, Chahal said:
“It was the 19th over, and Mahi bhai was at the crease—it could have gone either way. But I planned to bowl at the stumps, mix up my lengths, and play with the batter’s mind.”
He also shared the story behind his celebration:
“It came from memes. I had planned this if I ever got a hat-trick or five-fer. This was the moment.”
The Punjab Kings now have a major boost as they chase a crucial win in the playoff race, thanks to Chahal’s magic.
