"Try to focus on things under my control": Kuldeep Yadav
Ahead of the match against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Delhi Capitals (DC) spinner Kuldeep Yadav emphasized his approach to the game.
Kuldeep, who has taken 10 wickets in five matches at an average of 15.20 this season, discussed his focus on controllable elements of his performance.
“Having played continuously for the last one and a half to two years, I’ve gained a lot of confidence. This IPL season, where scores over 200 are becoming commonplace, presents significant challenges. My focus is always on aspects within my control. Understanding my role and executing it is crucial for me rather than worrying about the outcome,” Kuldeep explained.
The discussion came against the backdrop of increasingly high team totals in the IPL. Delhi Capitals, currently eighth on the leaderboard with six points from eight games, are looking to rebound after a 67-run defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
