
As the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 approaches, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) received a special send-off from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who met the players, owner Sanjiv Goenka, and the coaching staff at his residence in Lucknow on Monday.
The interaction marked a prestigious moment for the franchise, with the Chief Minister felicitating the entire team and sharing words of encouragement before they begin their IPL journey.
This season, LSG will be led by explosive wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, taking over the captaincy for the first time. Their campaign begins with a highly anticipated opener against Delhi Capitals on March 24 in Visakhapatnam.
