The 22-year-old, once a poster boy for Mumbai cricket’s success pipeline, has already sought a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), citing “personal reasons” for the switch.

This change comes amid a rough IPL season with Rajasthan Royals, where Jaiswal has scored just 34 runs in 3 matches — with a highest score of 29. His powerplay dismissal rate has shot up to 44%, a stark contrast to his consistency in 2023.
