Both teams are eager to get ahead in the five-match series, which is currently tied at one. After a four-year break, England’s top pacer Jasprit Bumrah made his long-awaited comeback in the longest format, making the third Test a memorable one. In addition, Jasprit Bumrah, an Indian pacer, replaced Prasidh Krishna in the starting lineup. Notably, Bumrah’s workload management caused him to miss the second game.
There was a humorous incident involving pacer Jasprit Bumrah prior to the third Test toss. Bumrah was seen warming up on the field and approaching the ropes, which separated the pitch from the rest of the ground, in a video that went popular on social media.
A groundstaff was observed warning Bumrah not to foot on the Lord’s pitch as he was approaching it. The Indian pacer responded to the request by putting his foot on the surface and threatening him in a humorous way. Then they both laughed a little.
