March 12, 2026: Fresh off ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 victory celebrations, Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav has arrived in Dehradun to begin his wedding festivities with childhood sweetheart Vanshika Chadha. The couple’s wedding celebrations are being held at the historic The Savoy Hotel in Mussoorie, which has reportedly been fully reserved for the event. Traditional Hindu rituals, including Haldi, Mehendi and Mangal Snan, will begin on March 13, while the main wedding ceremony is scheduled for the night of March 14.
Following the intimate mountain ceremony in Uttarakhand, the celebrations will continue with a grand reception in Lucknow on March 17 at Hotel Centrum. Jay Shah, chairman of the International Cricket Council, is also expected to attend, while an invitation has reportedly been extended to Yogi Adityanath for the Lucknow reception.
Reports say the wedding menu will highlight traditional dishes from the region, featuring a range of Pahari delicacies such as maduva roti, red rice, Gahat dal, Phanu, Chaansu and Kandali saag, along with Kumaoni raita, bhang chutney and the dessert Jhangora kheer. Around 80 rooms have reportedly been booked at The Savoy, with additional accommodation arranged at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa and Fortune Resort Grace to host guests arriving for the celebrations.
