Lionel Messi’s ‘GOAT Tour’ Of India To Begin From THIS Date, Here’s His Full 4-Day Itinerary

The Argentine superstar is set to visit four cities from December 12-15, with his tour culminating in a meeting with PM Narendra Modi. He will be joined by Indian and international celebrities for events in each city.

August 15, 2025: Satadru Dutta, the person in charge of the event, has said that Lionel Messi, a well-known soccer player, will officially start a three-city tour of India in December. On December 12, the “GOAT Tour of India 2025” will start in Kolkata. This would be Messi’s first trip to India in more than ten years.

The trip lasts four days and stops in Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi. The trip would finish with a visit at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence on December 15.

The journey begins in Kolkata, where there will be celebrations for two days straight. On December 12, Messi will arrive. On December 13, he will have a meet-and-greet and a special fusion cuisine and tea event that lasts all day. The best part of the day will be when they show off a big mural and a statue. After that, there will be a “GOAT Concert” and a “GOAT Cup” football competition with seven teams in either Eden Gardens or Salt Lake Stadium. Messi will play in the “GOAT Cup” with famous Indian athletes and actors including Sourav Ganguly, Leander Paes, John Abraham, and Bhaichung Bhutia.

On December 13, Messi will depart Kolkata and go to Ahmedabad for a private function hosted by the Adani Foundation.

On December 14, the tour will stop in Mumbai for a “GOAT Cup” at Wankhede Stadium and a meet-and-greet at CCI Brabourne. Playing padel at CCI Brabourne is a new thing to do in Mumbai. Messi, who loves sports, might play a short game with celebrities like Leander Paes and Shah Rukh Khan.

Sources further say that there will be a “GOAT moment” with Messi and cricket players Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma, as well as Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh.

Messi will meet with Prime Minister Modi for the last time in New Delhi on December 15. Then he will go to Feroz Shah Kotla for the last “GOAT Cup” and “GOAT Concert.” Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, two cricketers, have also been asked to join. The people in charge want the event to go very well, and tickets cost Rs 3,500.
