Salah’s goal also saw him surpass Sergio Aguero as the Premier League’s highest-scoring international player. Speaking after the game, Salah highlighted the tactical differences under new manager Arne Slot compared to Jurgen Klopp.

“You can see the numbers. Now I don’t have to defend much. The tactics are different. I told him, ‘As long as you rest me defensively, I will deliver offensively,’ and he listened,” Salah explained. “My assists show that you can create chances too.”

This title marks Liverpool’s second Premier League trophy after their 2019-20 triumph and their 20th English top-flight title overall—bringing them level with Manchester United for the most in history.
