MS Dhoni Highlights 'Do-Or-Die' Drama In ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 Campaign

January 31, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has kicked off the hype for the much-awaited ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, using an exciting campaign centered around the event's high-stakes, 'do-or-die' format. The competition will see the world's top eight cricket teams compete in a series of intense, must-win matches, where every result could dramatically impact their qualification chances.

Star Sports Network launched their campaign with the theme 'Har Match Do-or-Die,' capturing the essence of the pressure-packed tournament. The campaign features a gripping film starring 2013-winning skipper MS Dhoni, who embodies the spirit of the tournament. Known for his typically calm and collected demeanor, Dhoni adopts a rare, intense persona, highlighting the tension and drama that the tournament is bound to deliver.

In the promo film, Dhoni is seen in an unusual setting—a bathtub filled with ice in a snowy landscape—while sweating under extreme pressure. The striking imagery visually represents the nerve-wracking intensity that fans will experience during the competition. In a tone that balances humor with gravity, Dhoni delivers the line, "Ek bhi match mein phisle, samjho tournament se nikle," emphasizing the cutthroat nature of the tournament.

Reflecting on the significance of the ICC Men's Champions Trophy, Dhoni shared his thoughts with fans, saying, "The ICC Men's Champions Trophy has always been a special tournament to me—it's where the best in the world go toe-to-toe in high-stakes, do-or-die matches. While players can manage the pressure on-field, the excitement and nerves for fans are on another level."

The tournament holds extra meaning for Dhoni as the last Indian captain to lift the prestigious Champions Trophy in 2013. His involvement in the campaign brings a sense of nostalgia and motivation to fans, reminding them of India's glorious victory under his leadership.

India’s campaign in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 will begin with a clash against Bangladesh in Dubai on February 20. The group-stage matches also feature a highly anticipated showdown with Pakistan on February 23, followed by a game against New Zealand on March 2. The tournament is set to run from February 19, with the final match scheduled for March 9, and promises to be an exciting, nerve-wracking competition that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
