The key moment came during the eighth over when Stars captain Marcus Stoinis attempted a massive hit. Despite launching the ball sky-high, the timing was slightly off, and it landed comfortably in Kane Williamson's hands at long-on. Djokovic, visibly stunned, watched the ball nearly graze the stadium roof before being caught. Stoinis, who scored 18 off 10 balls, shared a look of disbelief as he walked back to the pavilion.

The Renegades struggled in their chase, managing only 161, as Mark Steketee delivered an outstanding bowling performance. Steketee claimed a five-wicket haul, conceding just 17 runs in his four-over spell, securing a thrilling victory for the Stars.

On the tennis front, Djokovic is gearing up for his campaign at the Rod Laver Arena, where he will face Nishesh Basavareddy of the United States in his opening match on Monday. The 36-year-old is chasing his 24th Grand Slam title and a remarkable 100th career title on the ATP Tour. Earlier this year, Djokovic competed in the Brisbane International, where he lost to Reilly Opelka in the quarterfinals.
