July 27, 2025: Padraig Harrington, a 53-year-old golf veteran, is once again showing off his skills. He has a two-shot lead going into the last round of the ISPS HANDA Senior Open after a great third round of 65. Harrington says he’s not completely happy with his swing, even though he finished the day 13-under par and impressed the crowd.
Harrington said, “I don’t feel very good about how I’m hitting the ball,” according to Golf Today. “So I’m trying to stop worrying about that and get away from it because I’m clearly doing well.” It’s better to shoot 13 under par and not feel good about it than to think you’re swinging it well and be level par.

The Irish golfer is now the most dominant player on the senior Tour. He recently won the US Senior Open last month. He really wants to win this tournament so he can join the ranks of superstars like Gary Player, Tom Watson, Darren Clarke, and Bob Charles, who have won both The Open Championship and the ISPS HANDA Senior Open.
Fans and experts are still amazed by Harrington’s passion and determination to compete at the highest level, even in his fifties when most of his friends play for fun. He is two shots ahead of Justin Leonard going into the last round on Sunday at Sunningdale Golf Club.
