Pete Crow-Armstrong & Girlfriend Steal the Spotlight at All-Star Game

July 16, 2025: Pete Crow-Armstrong made his All-Star Game debut a night to remember — not just for his standout season, but for the unforgettable red carpet moment in Atlanta. Walking hand in hand with girlfriend Hailey Lavelle, the 23-year-old Chicago Cubs outfielder basked in cheers of “Pete! Pete! Pete!” as fans lined up for autographs.

Crow-Armstrong, who started in center field for the National League, is in the midst of a breakout MLB season. He’s batting .265 with 25 home runs, 71 RBIs, and 27 stolen bases, becoming just the third player in MLB history to notch 25 homers and 25 steals before the All-Star break.

The couple, who met at Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker’s wedding in December 2023, shared smiles and laughs during pregame interviews. Lavelle even giggled as PCA charmed interviewers on the carpet. Crow-Armstrong, the son of actors Ashley Crow and Matthew John Armstrong, embraced the spotlight with style — showing off a custom “Clark the Cub” bat (though he didn’t use it for his first at-bat).

On the field, he doubled against Yankees ace Carlos Rodón and later shared a wholesome moment with Javier Báez, the player he was once traded for. In a candid exchange posted online, Crow-Armstrong asked Báez if he imagined they’d both be playing center field in the All-Star Game. Báez laughed nervously, replying, “Hopefully, I don’t get burned.”
