The Bangladesh Cricket Board has sought government approval before allowing players to travel, citing security concerns. Players like Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam are among those awaiting clearance, with officials stating that the final decision will depend on safety assessments.

Despite these concerns, the PCB remains confident that the situation will stabilize in time for the tournament. With preparations in full swing and no withdrawals so far, the league is expected to feature a strong lineup and deliver another competitive season.
