December 3, 2024: Indian badminton star and double Olympic medalist PV Sindhu is set to marry Venkata Datta Sai, a Hyderabad-based executive director at Posidex Technologies, in a grand ceremony in Udaipur on December 22. The announcement follows Sindhu’s recent victory at the Syed Modi International, breaking her trophy drought.
The wedding festivities will commence on December 20, culminating in a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. According to Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, the families finalized the wedding plans only a month ago. “This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January,” he stated. Sindhu will resume her training shortly after the wedding to prepare for the upcoming badminton season.
Venkata Datta Sai holds an impressive academic and professional background. He earned a Diploma in Liberal Studies from FLAME University and completed a BBA in Accounting and Finance in 2018. He further pursued a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning at IIIT Bangalore.
Professionally, Datta Sai has built a diverse career, including stints at JSW as a summer intern and in-house consultant. He now serves as the Executive Director of Posidex Technologies and Managing Director of Sour Apple Asset Management. On his LinkedIn profile, he describes solving complex problems for major banks, such as enabling instant credit score matching for ICICI and HDFC.
This union of a sports legend and a tech innovator has caught widespread attention, with both families celebrating their compatibility. With Sindhu’s determination on the court and Datta Sai’s expertise in technology and finance, the couple is poised for a dynamic future.
