March 12, 2025: India captain Rohit Sharma has surged to third place in the latest ICC ODI rankings for batters, surpassing teammate Virat Kohli and South Africa's Heinrich Klaasen. The rankings, released on Wednesday, reflect Rohit's match-winning 76-run knock in the ICC Champions Trophy final against New Zealand.

🔹 Shubman Gill stays No.1 with 784 rating points, maintaining his lead in the batting charts.

🔹 Virat Kohli drops to No.5, despite his 84-run knock in the semi-final against Australia.
🔹 Shreyas Iyer holds steady at No.8, finishing as India's top scorer in the Champions Trophy (243 runs in 5 matches).
