India’s skipper Rohit Sharma commended all-rounder Hardik Pandya for his crucial performance in the final over of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa.

We want to dedicate it to our fans and all the players who have represented the country,” he said during the event at Wankhede Stadium.
Rohit also thanked the Wankhede crowd for their unwavering support, saying, “Mumbai never disappoints. We got a solid reception. On behalf of the team, we would like to thank the fans. I am very, very happy and relieved.”
He concluded by praising Pandya’s exceptional performance in the final over. “Hardik bowled the final over for us. Hats off to him for handling the pressure and delivering when it mattered the most,” the 37-year-old added.
The victory and Rohit’s heartfelt words were a fitting end to his illustrious T20I career.
