SAI Shakti, Jai Bharat register wins: Khelo India Sub Junior Women’s Hockey League

The SAI Shakti Team, Khelo India Hockey Excellence Centre Chhattisgarh, SAI Bal Team, and Jai Bharat Hockey Academy all won their respective games on Day 7 of the second Khelo India Sub Junior Women’s Hockey League – Phase 1.

SAI Shakti Team win big:

The SAI Shakti Team defeated Raja Karan Hockey Academy 28-0 in the day’s opening game. Purnima Yadav (4′, 34′, 35′, 42′, 45′, 49′, 54′) scored seven goals, Captain Kajal (3′, 6′, 22′, 29′, 50′, 60′) scored six goals, Binati Minz (2′, 9′, 25′, 56′) and Ravina (15′, 20′, 38′, 55′) each scored four goals, Sakshi (24′, 59′) and Shweta (12′, 57′) braces were scored, and the SAI Shakti team’s Navroop Kaur (7′), Tammanna (14′), and Nisha Dadel (18′) each scored one goal.

Close game won by Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre:

Khelo India Hockey Excellence Centre Chhattisgarh defeated Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre 2-1 in the day’s second match. By converting a penalty corner, Doli Bhoi (18′) of the Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High-Performance Centre scored the game’s opening goal. Five minutes later, Akshita (23′) tied the score for Khelo India Hockey Excellence Centre Chhattisgarh, and late in the second quarter, Madhu Sidar (28′) gave them the lead. They managed to maintain their lead and win the game 2-1.

The SAI Bal Team is well-off:

The SAI Bal Team defeated Ghumanhera Riser’s Hockey Academy 12-0 in the third game of the day. The SAI Bal Team’s goals came from Jyoti Xaxa (26′), Nidhi (42′), and Lalpeksangi (55′), Tanisha Ekka (30′, 48′), and Sisliya Sandi Purty (38′, 53′). Vandana Patel (17′, 52′, 57′) scored a hat-trick.

Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy is defeated by Jai Bharat Hockey Academy in Bhagta:

Jai Bharat Hockey Academy defeated Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta 3-1 in the day’s fourth match. Anjali’s (6′) goal gave Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta its first goal of the game. But Nisha’s brace (23′, 45′) and Captain Annu’s field goal (51′) ensured Jai Bharat Hockey Academy would win 3-1.
