May 12, 2025: Just minutes before cricket star Virat Kohli announced his surprise retirement from Test cricket, he and wife Anushka Sharma were spotted at the Mumbai Airport early Monday morning, turning heads with their stylish and relaxed airport looks.

In a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, the beloved celebrity couple appeared calm and coordinated as they stepped out of their car. Anushka was seen handing over her ID to Kohli and quickly checking their luggage before they walked into the terminal. Despite being in a rush, they graciously paused to smile and pose for a few photos for the waiting photographers.
Virat sported a breezy beige linen shirt and pants, while Anushka kept it effortlessly chic in an oversized pink-and-blue striped shirt paired with baggy jeans.
Shortly after their appearance, Kohli took to Instagram to drop a bombshell: his retirement from Test cricket, ending a remarkable 14-year journey in the format. “It’s not easy — but it feels right,” he wrote, reflecting on the grind, glory, and personal growth Test cricket gave him. “I’ll always look back at my Test career with a smile.”
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma, who has taken a step back from films since Zero (2018), is awaiting the release of her next project, Chakda ’Xpress, based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
