
England to Host Women’s T20 World Cup 2026: Dates & Venues Revealed
June 2, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the dates and venues for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will take place in England from June 12 to July 5.
The action-packed tournament will kick off at Edgbaston in Birmingham, with the final showdown set for July 5 at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Both semi-finals will be hosted at The Oval on June 30 and July 2, promising world-class cricket under the London skyline.

This 10th edition of the tournament is the biggest Women’s T20 World Cup ever, featuring 12 teams and 33 matches over 24 days. Matches will be spread across seven venues:
Eight teams have already secured their places: England (hosts), Australia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, and reigning champions New Zealand. The remaining four spots will be filled through a global qualifier event in 2025.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah expressed excitement, saying:“Fans have shown great support for the women’s game, and now they can start planning. Women’s cricket is at the forefront of our vision.”
The 2024 edition, hosted in the UAE, saw New Zealand win their first Women’s T20 World Cup title, defeating South Africa by 32 runs.
