Tickets For Federer’s Hall Of Fame Induction Sells Out In Just TWO Minutes

In a testament to the enduring “Federer Fever,” tickets for Roger Federer’s induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame vanished in just two minutes on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Even with a $3 million facility renovation and an expanded ticket pool, the demand for the 20-time Grand Slam champion’s “Ultimate Honor” proved unprecedented.

The induction festivities are scheduled to take place in Newport, Rhode Island, from August 27 to 29, 2026.

The Sell-Out by the Numbers

Organizers had prepared for high interest, but the speed of the sell-out stunned even the Hall of Fame staff.

Three Days of Federer: The Schedule

The 2026 Induction Celebration has been expanded into a three-day “Fame Fest” to accommodate the global influx of fans.

  • August 27 (Thursday): The festivities kick off with “The Tennis Wave,” a pop-up tennis court event at Bowen’s Wharf featuring Hall of Fame legends.
  • August 28 (Friday): * Celebrity Pro Classic: Federer will return to the grass courts for a doubles exhibition match alongside other tennis icons.
    • Courting Fashion: A cocktail evening held at the historic Marble House mansion.
  • August 29 (Saturday): * Red Carpet Pre-Show: Federer and fellow inductees will make a special appearance before the ceremony.

The “Serena” Factor

The Hall of Fame’s recent $3 million renovation wasn’t just for Federer. The venue is bracing for another massive year in 2027, when Serena Williams becomes eligible for induction. Organizers noted that the current infrastructure upgrades were essential to handle the back-to-back “GOAT” inductions of 2026 and 2027.
