Watch Video Of How Suryakumar, Tilak And Sanju Congratulate Rohit Sharma On The Arrival Of Second Child

November 16, 2024: The Indian cricket team’s impressive 3-1 series victory over South Africa in the T20I series was made even more special as captain Rohit Sharma celebrated the arrival of his second child with wife Ritika on Friday. The day was filled with joy for Indian cricket fans as key players like Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Sanju Samson extended their heartfelt congratulations to their skipper.

India’s dominant performance in the fourth and final T20I saw Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson smash twin centuries, contributing to India’s massive total of 283 runs. An all-round performance from the team then helped India to a resounding victory, winning the match by 135 runs and sealing the series 3-1.

As if the victory was not enough to celebrate, the day became even more special for Indian cricket with Rohit Sharma and Ritika welcoming their second child into the world. The birth of Rohit’s child added an extra layer of joy for the team, and his teammates quickly took to social media to send their best wishes.

In a video shared by the BCCI, Tilak Varma, who shares a close bond with Rohit and his family, expressed his happiness and excitement for the new arrival.

Really very happy for you, Rohit bhai. We were waiting for this moment, and had it been 1-2 days later, I would have joined you there. I am coming soon,” Tilak said in the video, clearly delighted for the Sharma family and sharing in their joy.

Indian vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav, known for his witty remarks, couldn’t help but make a humorous comment about the new addition to Rohit’s family. He jokingly said:

Now we have to get ready with a small side arm and small pads as a new cricketer has arrived.”

This light-hearted comment, coupled with Suryakumar’s infectious sense of humor, added to the celebratory mood among the players.

Sanju Samson, who also played a pivotal role in India’s victory, shared his happiness for Rohit in his own style. He affectionately called Rohit “chetta,” a term that means “elder brother” in Malayalam, expressing his joy for his captain’s new bundle of joy.

Super happy for chetta and his family,” Samson said, sending his heartfelt congratulations to the Sharma family.

While India’s victory in the series was a monumental achievement in itself, the arrival of Rohit Sharma’s second child brought an additional wave of happiness to the cricketing community. Rohit’s leadership and performance on the field continue to inspire his teammates, and this personal milestone only adds to the long list of accomplishments in his remarkable career.

As India celebrates the series win and Rohit’s joyous family moment, the team now looks ahead to upcoming challenges with renewed enthusiasm and the support of their captain, who continues to shine both on and off the field.
