Jacqueline Fernandez has surprised her fans by making her singing debut with the single ‘Stormrider’, in collaboration with LA-based record label Myst Music.
Jacqueline shared a teaser of the song on Instagram, captioning it, “This is just the beginning #Stormrider.” The full music video is scheduled for release on September 20.
In a press note, Jacqueline revealed that her passion for music was sparked during her childhood. Growing up in a household filled with music, particularly with her father being a part-time DJ, she was exposed to a wide variety of sounds and genres. She shared, “Music has always been my way of expression, and now I get to share my voice and story with the world.”
This exciting new chapter in her career allows her to explore storytelling through music, which she describes as a way of connecting with emotions, similar to the music she grew up listening to.
‘Fateh’, in which Jacqueline will star alongside Sonu Sood, explores real-life instances of cybercrime. The film also marks Sonu Sood’s directorial debut.
She will also headline the multi-starrer series ‘GOATS’, directed by Abhishek Sharma, featuring a star-studded cast including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Boman Irani, and others.
Additionally, Jacqueline has joined the ensemble cast of ‘Housefull 5’, where she’ll star alongside Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, and others, making it one of the most anticipated films of the year.
