Sunny Deol Celebrates 28 Years of ‘Jeet,’ Reflects on Working with Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Tabu

Sunny Deol is celebrating a significant milestone as his 1996 blockbuster film “Jeet” turns 28 years old. The movie, which featured a star-studded cast including Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Tabu, remains a cherished favorite among Bollywood fans.

On Saturday, Sunny took to his Instagram account to share a nostalgic video compilation of scenes from “Jeet,” showcasing some of his most intense moments with his co-stars. In the caption, Sunny reminisced about his experience working on the film, writing, “#28YearsOfJeet. One of the more intense roles I played, and had a great time with @beingsalmankhan @therealkarismakapoor & @tabutiful shooting for #Jeet.”

“Jeet,” directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, was a massive hit at the box office and has continued to hold a special place in the hearts of moviegoers.

Earlier, the official Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment account commemorated the anniversary by sharing a throwback picture from the film’s release, captioning it, “Throwback to Jeet running successfully in theatres for 75 weeks! Revisiting this day today on the 28th Anniversary of Jeet (Victory Of Love).”

As Sunny Deol looks back on the legacy of “Jeet,” fans are reminded of the film’s powerful performances and its enduring impact on Bollywood.

Looking ahead, Sunny will be seen in the upcoming film “Lahore 1947,” directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film features an ensemble cast including Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol. Produced by Aamir Khan, the much-anticipated movie is slated for a Republic Day release next year, promising another powerful performance from the veteran actor.
