The son of superstar Feroz Khan, Fardeen Khan, is talented and skilled in acting. However, out of his 21 films, only ‘Heyy Babyy’ was a hit, where he was overshadowed by stars like Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. Despite his efforts, success has been elusive for him. After a 13-year hiatus, Fardeen is planning a comeback with the crime thriller ‘Visfot’, a crucial film for his career.
Feroz Khan had high hopes for Fardeen, directing his debut film ‘Prem Aggan’, which unfortunately flopped. Fardeen continued his efforts, but faced 15 consecutive film failures. His career saw a brief success with the 2007 multi-starrer ‘Heyy Babyy’, his only hit, which grossed over Rs 83 crores globally against a Rs 30 crore budget.
Post ‘Heyy Babyy’, Fardeen’s films like ‘Darling’, ‘Jai Veeru’, and ‘Life Partner’ flopped, and ‘All the Best’ had a limited success. His last appearance was in ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ alongside Sushmita Sen. Facing continuous setbacks, Fardeen took a break from acting for 13 years.
Now at 49, Fardeen Khan is attempting a comeback with ‘Visfot’, a thriller centered around his character who kidnaps a pilot’s son. The film, also featuring Riteish Deshmukh, is a remake of the Venezuelan film ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ (2012), directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Sanjay Gupta.
