Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina celebrated Team India’s grand victory parade in Mumbai, commemorating their ICC T20 World Cup triumph. He emphasized the importance of self-belief and faith in God, stating that dreams do come true.
In a heartfelt message on X, Raina expressed that the “sheer exhilaration and meaning” behind this title win could only be truly understood by those who were part of it, as being a champion is an “experience like no other.” He acknowledged the overwhelming love and respect the Men in Blue received at home following their historic, unbeaten title run.
“Unless you’re part of a winning team, you’ll never truly grasp the sheer exhilaration and meaning behind this victory. Being a champion is an experience like no other—a belief, a feeling, a triumph in its own league. To witness the overwhelming love and respect from our incredible Indian fans and loved ones is a blessing beyond words. Believe in yourself and trust the almighty, for dreams do come true!” Raina tweeted, adding the hashtags #t20worldcup2024 #champions #teamindia #blessed.
Raina himself has experienced many championship wins throughout his career, including the ICC Cricket World Cup (2011) after defeating Sri Lanka at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and the ICC Champions Trophy (2013) by beating England on their home turf. He also secured multiple Indian Premier League (IPL) titles with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
