A heated debate erupted in the Kerala Assembly over the Centre’s PM SHRI school scheme, leading to a confrontation between the ruling UDF and the opposition LDF. General Education Minister N Samsudheen maintained that the government had neither signed an agreement with the Centre nor taken any decision to implement the scheme.
The Uttarakhand Cabinet has approved a proposal to declare the state "fully literate" in line with the literacy standards outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The decision was taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
