The recently inaugurated Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has drastically altered regional connectivity, cutting down the travel time between Delhi's Akshardham and Dehradun from six hours to a mere 2.5 hours. Built with an investment of ₹12,000 crore, this 213 km, six-lane, access-controlled highway features high-speed infrastructure including 113 vehicular underpasses and 76 km of service roads.
The wait is finally over for commuters traveling between the national capital and the foothills of the Himalayas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to officially inaugurate the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway today
